Dr Berra Önsoy — Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, Medical Director
I was born in Istanbul in 1973 and graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa English Faculty of Medicine in 1997. During my medical training, I completed clinical internships in 1994 at South Cleveland Hospital in Middlesbrough, now known as The James Cook University Hospital, so I understand the expectations of UK patients from the very first conversation.
Between 1997 and 2001 I specialised in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Taksim Training and Research Hospital, and then practised at Avrasya Hospital in Istanbul. For more than two decades I have continued advanced training in aesthetic gynaecology, intimate reconstructive surgery and pelvic floor care.
In 2023 I founded AnewYou Travel to bring the same high standard of care to women travelling from abroad — combining careful hospital selection, transparent pricing and continuous personal support, so you feel safe and looked after at every step.
Today I personally review every enquiry, run your online consultation myself and follow your journey from your first message until you are safely home in the UK. You will always know who is caring for you.
